home sweet home

Well, I thought my time in Cordele would be...boring, to say the least.  But, I've found myself quite busy since I've been home.  I can already tell that I'm truly going to enjoy this chance to spend so much time with my grandparents (Mamaw & GG).  I'm loving working at Shelby's because I get to interact with so many different people and I secretly love to do gift wrapping, so that's a little perk for me!

It's funny how things always have a way of workingout. My life has and will continue to change so much in this year and I've enjoyed the ride so far. I don't think these few months here will be so boring after all!

This past week I got to see Jamie Lee & Abbye for the first time since they returned from Madrid!  Boy did I love that! I could have just ate them up I was so glad they were back.  Then I got to spend even more time with Abs being as we scooted down to Valdosta to celebrate the birth of our friend Ashley!  If there is one thing I looove to do, it's celebrate a birthday!  In fact, I'll be heading back down to Valdosta this week for the celebration of my best guy friend, Andrew!  Hope I live through that to blog again, keep your fingers crossed for me! ;)

Abs & I at Rock'N Rodeo

I realize the dance floor looks empty here, but when they played the "Cupid Shuffle"...holy moly did everyone but us jump out on that thing and embarrass the mess outta themselves!

fall in love with as many things as possible

This week is turning out to be pretty hard for me.  I know I've already moved all of my things back home, but this is my last official week in Statesboro. Ever.  I've had such an amazing four years at Georgia Southern and I couldn't have imagined going anywhere else.  I've met some of the greatest people and made arguably the best memories of my life so far.  It's just so sad to know this chapter of my life is closing, it's like I'm breaking up with adolescence.  I helped LaPorte (former roomie & Cordeleian) pack up her things last night and I suppose this really didn't help the breakup any.

But on a brighter note, I'm about to embark on another exciting few years and I'm rather eager.  Georgia State and Atlanta are quite the change, but 9 times outta 10 change is a good thing.  Actually, I just completely made that statistic up, but it makes me feel better.
Speaking of Atlanta, I had a blast there last week.  Anna and I headed up Tuesday evening and didn't leave til late Friday afternoon.  A sweet little mini vacay of fun.  KoL was phenomenal on Wednesday.  I wouldn't have wanted anyone else with me besides Na.  Wednesday was just a good day in general, Laura Lyn took us to a bar-type place to eat that had some the best Lemon Pepper & LemonYaki wings I've ever had. Mmm,mmm. Then on Thursday, she took us to a fun mediterranean place where I devoured the hummus. Finger lickin' good.  That girl knows how to pick a good eating joint!  Thursday evening I learned a few DJing skills while at the bar - fell in love.  Those guys (and girls I guess) are so talented.  I enjoyed hearing the DJ talk about how much he loved what he does, such passion.

To wrap up, we headed back to good ol' Cordele for Laura Lyns brother's birthday.  All I have to say about that is - what a rowdy bunch of boys! So enough babbling, here are some photos:
